Teenagers with Dyslexia often find it very difficult to study and revise effectively. Here are some tips that have been found helpful.
Draw up a study timetable and stick to it. Try and study at the same time each night. Study only one subject per night. Work for short intense periods with breaks in between.
Use aids such as audio books, dvds and you tube clips to aid study.
Revise actively: Read a chapter – close it up – write what you remember as the main points on a flashcard and then check back for accuracy.
We hope these points help. Remember Assist Dyslexia offers intensive study workshops.
